We recommend you use 10 grams, or about 2 Tablespoons (sencha and gyokuro) per small pot of tea. Our goal is to brew for a short time and to rebrew the leaves several times. (For Hojicha, 10 grams is about 4 tablespoons)
Our brewing methods will produce a smaller amount of tea with a richer flavor. Our preference for our tea is a drink with a rich, full body. Our recipes are meant to be satisfying in small sips and in small quantities.
Please experiment with different amounts of tea to find what you like the best!
