The Tokyo Marunouchi store is conveniently located on Marunouchi Naka-dori Street, which runs north and south through the Marunouchi district close to Tokyo Station where visitors to Tokyo arrive. Located on the ground floor, facing a broad, tree-lined walkway, the store is easily identified by its noren shop curtains with the Ippodo name in Japanese. The walls inside are black, plastered walls, similar to those outside the Kyoto Main Store. The black plaster and hardwood design provides an inviting and relaxing space that encourages you to take your time selecting the teas that you want. There are also take-out options to enjoy with lunch or while strolling around the area.
Kaboku Tearoom
The Kaboku Tearoom situated to the right of the shop area provides both counter and table seating. You have a wide range of options to choose from, including savouring delicious Japanese tea in this relaxing environment or enjoying a quick tea to make the most of a short break.

At the end of a long, narrow corridor at the back of the shop area, you’ll find Room 100, a small, quiet classroom space for learning about and getting to know Japanese tea. We look forward to helping you discover, or rediscover, the intricacies of Japanese tea, a surprisingly rich topic that includes a surprising number of things that are not widely known.
