You can brew tea for many guests in different ways.
Use your kyusu to combine brews into one pitcher, with no brewing time at all. Add 10g of tea leaf into your kyusu, then fill with hot water. Pour the tea out immediately into a large pitcher. Rebrew the same tea leaves with more hot water, and pour into the same pitcher. Keep rebrewing the tea until you have the desired amount in your pitcher. and serve in cups. Recommended teas for this method: lower rank sencha and gyokuro, and all bancha varieties.
For matcha, you can whisk up to 3 portions at once in a bowl with a spout, like our Black or White bowl with a serving spout. Use 2 grams of matcha and 60 ml of hot water per person, and whisk at once for 15 seconds. Pour into individual espresso cups and serve with a little cookie for your guests. Repeat as necessary to serve each of your guests.
